It is 5% smaller than the previous model hence is made as a more compact build. It is easy to grip and is an extremely PORTABLE flashlight.

It has five modes and a separate strobe mode. The several modes of this flashlight offer varied lumen outputs providing varying degrees of brightness.

I was excited to get my hands on this flashlight for numerous reasons. I really wanted to understand how good the charger was. 

To my surprise, this flashlight actually delivered on the promise of fast charging. Full charge took us a little over 3 hours which is excellent for any flashlight. 

The features of this flashlight were terrific, and the impact resistance was drop tested by us. Even after a 1.5-meter drop, the flashlight worked just fine. Now I don’t recommend you throw your flashlight down a set of stairs, but it is good knowing that the flashlight would still work if it falls off the table or couch.

The waterproof feature was too tested by us. I sprinkled some water on it as if to simulate rain, and the flashlight was undisturbed by the water. (It survived submerged 1 meter in water.) 

The fact that it is resistant to water damage was very important to us. At the end of the day, nobody needs a flashlight that will stop working in the rain!

Is the Olight S2R Baton II Recommended?

The Olight S2R Baton II has some exceptionally impressive features with the ability to deliver. I was impressed with the features and found the flashlight to be a reliable source of light. 

The moonlight mode ran for 60 DAYS without a charge, which was still light that was bright enough to read a book. 

All in all, this is a great little flashlight and sure packs a punch for its small size.
